Holiday City Highlight: Brooklyn, New York

Gah, I just love Brooklyn! If I (Jenn) didn’t need to live in Los Angeles, I think I would move to Brooklyn. I love that it is quaint, yet nearby the big city. It continues to develop and there are tons of fun things to explore. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Celebrate Kwanzaa at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. You can even stay all day; I bet you that you won’t run out of things to enjoy there.

  • Go create a holiday art craft with our dear friend, Hannah, at Hootenanny in Park Slope.

  • Take your big kids to make gingerbread houses at one of the Gingerbread Lane Workshops.

  • Pack some blankets and enjoy fireworks in Prospect Park or at least on NYE somewhere in Brooklyn.

  • Get a head start on next year’s shopping at the Flea Market.

  • Sip hot chocolate, eat chocolate and smell chocolate at The Chocolate Room.

  • Visit Lula Bagel for a bagel with lots of nutella coconut cream cheese!

  • Take a selfie on Brooklyn Bridge.
