I've found that the only thing, outside of self care, that goes quickly to the wayside when I'm stressed is my time with my husband. We are a great team and work so hard to be partner parents as we take care of our little ones. But, from our perspective, we want to be more than just partners in parenting. We still want to enjoy romance, special time together, dates out and weekend getaways. We took a two week trip a few years ago to Europe and though it took a lot of planning work on the front end (to get the kiddos squared away), it was worth it all! We will talk next week about a few ideas for sharing the LOVE with your partner, even if it isn't all the way in Europe!
